This is what some of the neighborhoods in my state look like after we get hit by a hurricane. I live in florida. The flooding is so bad that we have to leave our homes for weeks till the water goes down. By that point the houses are destroyed and anything in the house is already ruined and covered in mold. Until Insurance companies do their job we can't do anything in the house. they have to come out to take pictures and do their case work so they can deny most of their clients. Thousands of people here got screwed because the insurance company denied their claims after these last 2 major hurricanes we had. One neighborhood down the road from me is still under water and the storms hit in October. Nobody is there. Water sits about 2 ft in all of their homes. So sad.

It's so sad to see places like this, stopped completely in some other time. People's who lives, whole childhoods just completely left behind. I can't imagine going through something like that where you just have to get up and leave literally everything you own with all your neighbors doing the same because of some disaster. It's very eerie to walk through places like this!!

You should check out Centralia, PA. It was a coal town and decades ago an unstoppable coal fire started underneath the ground and they had go evacuate the entire town. There are giant splits in the ground where you can see smoke coming up and feel the heat from the fire. It was an inspiration for the games and movies Silent Hill!!!

The weird thing is, there seems to be no damage to the houses whatsoever. No furniture has been knocked over, and all trees are intact. Pretty strange if you ask me.

I don't see any flood lines where the water was at, just shown in basements. If it was just a flood damage in basement than why didnt they get the stuff that wasn't touched above .
