[Roland R-8 Cover] Battle Mania Daiginjou - 'Pick Me Up, Boy!' (Sega Genesis) [Renoise]

My Renoise cover of the drums from the song "Pick Me Up, Boy!" from the game Battle Mania Daiginjou (バトルマニア大吟醸).

Since the original uses Roland R-8 samples, I used R-8 samples as well. Compared to the original, there should be no missing or added notes (unless I made an unintentional mistake). The only difference should be more polyphony (I used as much channels as I needed) and added effects to the drum mix. I added a compressor to the drum kit, and as final touches, a distortion and a bitcrusher to the entire drum track to bring it closer back to the original. The original uses the SN76489 for the open hi-hats (noise channel) but since we're using Roland R-8 samples anyway, I added the hi-hats from the Roland R-8 instead of the SN76489.
