Absolutely love this album, wish I remembered to listen to it more often. You guys are SLEEPING on Tinker Tailor! It has one of the greatest outros to any Radiohead song ever!

Why does everybody puts Tinker Tailor so low? :(
I love the part near the end, I believe it's more a song of constructing it's climax. And you have to admit it sounds so beautiful with how the melody fights to sound menacing or relaxing.

1. Daydreaming (That fucking winding piano melody is the stuff dreams are made of, Thom's voice puts me on the verge of tears, amazing stuff)
2. Ful Stop (The GOOD kind of discomfort, I love the haunting bass in this one and repetitive lyrics about how the truth will mess you up. Holy shit this is great)
3. Identikit (Instantly a standout track, much like Tinker Tailor, I just love how this one just builds. Like, it keeps getting bigger)
4. Tinker Tailor (Damn this one almost sounds sorta... broken. But that's why I like it. And the strings near the end are an eargasm moment, I swear)
5. Desert Island Disk (I'm just gonna say it. This is a textbook definition of what depression feels like)
6. Burn The Witch (Wish I could've placed this one higher but the album is just THAT good. Love the intensity in this song)
7. The Numbers (The opposite of Present Tense, lyrics carry this one all the way, it also just happens to coexist with a beautiful melody)
8. True Love Waits (Ok I'm absolutely heartbroken over this song)
9. Glass Eyes (A short and sweet interlude that I always look forward to)
10. Present Tense (The guitar riff absolutely carries this song, but that's kind of all that keeps me interested in it)
11. Decks Dark (Dunno why everyone's praising this one so much, it's just discomforting to me)

Disagree (of course), but like, wow is this a hard one to do. The more I hear this album the more I like it, and I'm usually more into electronica as a whole. The combo of the two opening tracks, the ensuing mood-whiplash, is probably still my favorite part - Burn The Witch is probably the most intense banger featuring strings I've ever heard lol, insane piece; politically charged and agitating. And then Daydreaming comes, allowing for a break and restitution, to quickly be followed by existential dread tho.
The Numbers has grown on me recently. Main riff is incredible, and the equally motivational and critical lyrics makes for a rather forceful piece.

This is my third least favorite album behind Pablo Honey and The King of Limbs. It’s still a phenomenal record. My favorite song is True Love Waits. I also love the Numbers.
