I’ve been traveling and singing since the age of 18 months. Over the last few years I’ve thought of my top four favorite singers of all time who have influenced me most who are living. I am blessed enough to say that I’ve met three of them and I’ve sang with three of them. Two of them are on that stage right there in this video. And Vince is the only one on my list that I have not gotten to meet yet and that may be happening on June 20 because we have a bunch of the same friends. It is the last great dream of my musical life to do what Mark is doing here and to sing his song in front of him. People also I don’t think really understand just how talented Mark is. He is today, one of the greatest vocalists in all of music, and it is a shame that his major radio success happened when he was so young before his voice developed the range and the gravitas And the depth that it has now.

I knew Mark when he was just starting at The Buckboard in Marietta Georgia. I'm happy for the guy. Back in the day, I didn't much like him. He's grown on me though. He's a true talent. I'm especially glad he was finally made a member of the Opry. That means a lot to his career.
