If this unit could be run line of sight from an IR remote, then I'd buy one. I use a great "learning remote" that controls needed function (including menus) and every device I have and I can use it by feel in a dimmed room. I don't care for the voice functions and would love if it had IR receiving capabilities such as all of your DVRs do in addition to their RF functionality (which I don't use).
