When the first manned lunar lander touched down during Apollo 11, it was pioleted by Niel Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin. Niel Armstrong's heart monitor showed heart-attack conditions, however the limited moon gravity prevented those heart-attack effects. Yes during descent they were dealing with a lot of G-force but upon touchdown the effects were negated by the moon's low gravity. This spiked interest in research of LEO hospitalization. To this date it's still too expensive to be practical.

From my understanding, eyesight is one of the things that can be affected. They even have a name for it - SANS - “Spaceflight-Associated Neuro-Ocular Syndrome“

Awesome short, I wasn't aware a man spent 1 year in space! Than again, there's a lot in the "space world" I don't know about, thanks again for the knowledge!

It is hard is say that what astronauts experience in ISS can be used in actual long voyages. The space in which ISS is located is like a pond and overall space is like a ocean. There is huge difference

Scott Kelly's health is worse than that of his twin brother who stayed here of course. I remember listening to an interview about the topic a while ago.

All we need is artificial gravity that's stronger than our native gravity.

It isn't space that's lower earths orbit. Big difference

Being in space is similar being in submarine. The difference is, submarine is on bottom of the ocean, space is few hundreds kilometers from the earth

Hi from the UK. Are both towers operational? IF! They are, will SpaceX use both towers to catch the two parts separately?

Humans have never been in open space. Even the moon is still in Earths magnetic field. The space station even more so.

No one has ever gone past the Earth's magnetosphere. It extends to about twice the distance as the moon. The bacteria in your guts is lost without its compass. No one knows what will happen humans if we attempt this. We simply do not know.
