Kahit mahirap sa kanya na mawalay sa pamilya, napilitang mamasukan bilang yaya sa Barcelona, Spain si Chona (LJ Reyes) para mabigyan sila ng maginhawang buhay. Sa kabila ng kanyang pagiging kasambahay, ipinaglalaban din ni Chona ang karapatan ng mga kababayan niyang OFW na walang abogado, isang propesyong pinapangarap niyang makamit. Dahil naging malapit na rin ang loob sa kanya ng amo niyang si Vivien (Jackie Lou Blanco), tinutulungan siya nitong makapagpadala sa pamilya at kalunan ay tinulungan din siyang makapag-aral bago maging isang ganap na abogada.

Just to give her family a better life, Chona (LJ Reyes) willingly decided to work abroad as a domestic helper in Barcelona, Spain. Despite this, all of her hardships soon paid off as her Spanish boss, Vivien (Jackie Lou Blanco), offered her help to send her to school until she became a public attorney to all Filipinos who are having troubles with Immigration. #TadhanaYayaAbogada

Very touching story. Similar with my story before I became a lawyer here in Canada. I used to be a cigarette vendor in the Philippines, and also I was a balut and newspaper vendor, luckily I migrated to Canada and continue to pursue my dream. It was very difficult, but I did not give up.

Very impressive, I love hearing stories like this. It inspire other people to work harder and become a better version of them. As I always say, dreams without action is just a wishful thinking. I was born poor myself but but with perseverance, hard work and faith, I now own several businesses here in Las Vegas. I am not wealthy but I have enough for my family to live comfortably and help other people as well. God is good to those who has the will to succeed. I also believe that meeting other people is not just a coincidence. Each person that we come across in our lifetime has a purpose. Barcelona is a beautiful place, my family and I were there 3 years ago. Continue to inspire and help people, especially those who are not able to help themselves.
