1:24 China is actually the 3rd largest country by total land area
1:41 Asia also borders the Arctic ocean in the far north.
2:44 Part of Indonesia does lie within the Oceanic 'continent', however how much is another question. Some people say that the Oceanic part only includes Papua and its surrounding islands, some people include the nearby spice islands like Halmahera and Ceram, and some people even include Sulawesi and all of the Lesser Sunda Islands, all the way to Lombok. However, most of the country's population lies within the Asian part, with the islands of Java and Sumatra alone having almost 200 million people.
6:15 I've seen this a lot (Taklamakan Desert) as a barrier to China. Yes, it is a natural barrier for Modern China, however until the last couple centuries, the Taklamakan was too far from Inner China to have a direct effect on its early years, however it did affect trade from outside powers. The area in between the Taklamakan and Inner China was simply fairly mountainous and pretty dry.
11:05 It isn't very far away from Japan.
6:07 There were two holes in China's protection: Southeast Asia and the Korean Peninsula. While the west was protected by mountains and deserts, Manchuria was protected by the cold forests of Siberia, their far southern border in Yunnan and Guangxi was only protected by some jungle, while the Korean Peninsula was barely protected at all, with some woodlands and two rivers. Any country who owned Korea could invade Manchuria, and from there invade the rest of China (This is exactly what the Japanese did in World War II.) There was never a major invasion from Indochina, however if any country had been able to unite the entire region and had wishes to invade China, it was very likely they could have with experience in the jungle. Yunnan is fairly mountainous, protecting China from a Thai, Lao or Burmese invasion (assuming none of these powers had Vietnam), however Guangxi is not as so. If someone had access to Vietnam, they may have been able to invade from the south, assuming they had the manpower and jungle experience.

Overall, it was a great video and covered the main topics you need to know about China, I just wanted to add some additional information.
