What if superman was born in Gotham

What if Superman’s origins began in Gotham instead of smallville? His rural upbringing is Superman’s entire identity. The insanely high crime rate and infestation of psychopaths would change Clark’s whole outlook on life.

A different upbringing would almost cause him to possibly turn into a version of his Injustice counterpart. Growing up in Gotham, he would experience no shorthand of loss and tragedy. Superman would grow to become more cruel in nature and more of an anti-hero than what we know him to be. Optimistically, he would kill all of Gotham’s villains, but he would more than likely acquire Batman as his signature nemesis instead of Lex Luthor. A war over Gotham’s future would end up ensuing, leaving the two ideologies clashing. The finale would end with Superman maiming or even killing Batman, seeing him as an inconvenient threat leaving Superman as Gotham’s god of the night.

I doubt batman would fall to superman. Batman has proven time and time again he was more then 2 steps ahead of superman and was always prepared to face him if he needed to
