What about drawing into CAD? It is perfect for documentation in local coordinates system. Georeferencing is weak because you have to put the GCP's pins in the planer view (in FARO Scene) depending on pixels (even more on corners of a pixel). The target spheres are not good when working outside under sunlight. What if I want to occupy a known benchmark how to make backsight point(s)?! I have to keep my targets/checkerboards near the scanner, which make my resection (georeferencing) quality so bad. I can use natural items (corners / Marks) for resection but same problem when I come to Scene where I have to use the pixels.

I do not like when somebody says it is an affordable solution and does not support this claim further saying how affordable it is. I have had to google for its price and It is a $25 000 hardware Now everyone can decide if it affordable or not.
