A BBT movie that includes Yuma, yuya and yusaku would be amazing. Imagine Jaden, Yugi, yuya and yuma talking about what it's like to a multiple spirits living inside them. Yusei and Yusaku are a similar age and have similar interests in technology so they might've got along quite well

I’m looking forward to what will be announced at Jump Festa and I’m hoping we get something good. Three things I want to see as a Yugioh anime: a lore anime, a Duel Links based anime or a Master Duel anime.

I dont think we'll be leaving Rush Duels anytime soon. I mean Arc-V and Vrains had trouble figuring out how to create duels while Rush has a more simple format

If it's a new anime I'm hoping they give us a fantasy style instead of a sci-fi style again. Yu-Gi-Oh meets lord of the rings kind of style. Old monsters Like Freed the matchless general, Dark Blade and more could get retrains or new support in such a setting.

I would love a sequel to Arc V when the Yu boys and Bracelet Girls regain their physical lives! I know Duel Links is a continuation of the anime, but it would be nice to have an actual sequel where the characters from different dimensions interact and have the ultimate dimensional championship! Since more new pendulum cards and Arc V monsters are being made, it would be a shame if they weren’t used in the actual anime

12:38 oh hey it’s me :) I had a few people reply to this and it seemed like there was a lot of emphasis on how the anime would suck with Atem and it’d ruin the show. But I really do think the show tried to, and somewhat failed to, demonstrate how good of a duelist Yugi became and was all along. The new anime would have to really hone in on this.

It is interesting to look back at the originial series and realize TK avoided using the end of the world is at stake.

It made his stories more memorable because since the stakes weren't very high it allowed the characters to be more flawed.

Something I didn't see mentioned: ocg structures! It has been essentially the next story about the TCG after vrains promoting new decks(including new cards that end up printed!) while having its own dueling dynamic

I just now though of it. If we don’t get a girl protagonist, I will settle for a duo-protagonist, rival, or villain role.

I would love to see Konami Animation Studio make a YouTube webseries adapting the Yugioh Spin Off mangas, starting with GX. They’re much shorter than their original anime, so a web series on YouTube would be more fitting than having it made for TV. I really want to see Terra Firma, Absolute Zero, LADD, and Dark Law fully animated!!

2. Introduce new rivalries and alliances.
3. Explore alternate timelines and dimensions.

I want a redone Bonds Beyond Time story as an arc for a DM reboot with all six protagonists teaming up against Illiaster. If Illiaster is messing with time, they should be messing with the time periods of DM and GX as well outside of Paradox doing his plot to kill Pegasus. They can use Illiaster as the explanation for the differences between the anime and the manga.

One of the mangas I can see being adapated with Master duel and Rush is the manga exclusive protag from OCG structures, Shoma Yusa. In the Yugioh game that's shutting down (i forgot the name), the OCG structures side characters were raid bosses and each had a special Monarch. Plus they are somewhat OG Yu-Gi-Oh style but mixed with goofyness like Zexal and Rush series.

I honestly kinda wanna see a movie or special that crosses over *all* of the anime series so far. By which I mean the protagonists and characters of each season meeting characters from the other seasons. Would probably be set in Duel Links just for that to be possible, unless they did it Bonds Beyond Time style. And yes, that would even mean Yuga and Yuuhi meeting Yugi, Jaden, etc.

Maybe they could even kinda crossover Speed Duels and Rush Duels? They don't have to, but I think it'd be kinda neat.

So here's my idea

Yu-Gi-Oh 9 takes place in a Vegas theme place

Female lead protagonist she carries a deck that's gambling themed filled with dice rolling coin toss and a bunch of gambling theme cards the deck is also a cursed deck that contains a cursed card that no matter how hard she's tried she can't get rid of she can play with the deck normal but if she's plays this cursed card it unleashed her overconfident side which she risks making mistakes there could be storyline where she tries to go throughout the story without using the card but eventually gives in to temptation maybe there's a quest to break the cursed on the card bring out the good of the card unlock it's true form or something

I still want an anime with both formats, but if Rush Duel does continue, I hope they add new extra deck monsters like Synchros. Fusions are great & all, but it'd be more interesting with a variety of Extra Deck Monsters.
