Civil 3D Dynamic Blocks - Match lines

Показать описание
There are several tools in Civil 3D for generating automated plan sheets complete with match lines. That being said, in some cases you may find it necessary to create match lines manually. In this session we'll walk through a workflow to create a dynamic match line block that automatically adds the proper sheet number label and provides custom grips such that it can be quickly sized to suit your needs.

Thank you for this video. It was very helpful and I'm now using this block with a slight addition - I added a flip parameter and action for the entire text so it's a bit more versatile.

How do you automate the station numbers using fields such that when you snap to viewport edge, the station number updates to what is in model space?

Very helpful video, I'm also creating dynamic matchline labels. However, my blocks are not autofilling the sheet numbers. I have the page number attribute set up for the blocks, but every time I insert one it prompts me for the page number, which defeats the purpose of making them dynamic. My page numbers are setup as 101, 102, 103, etc. When I hover of the blocks I have created in the block selection window, it says they are not annotative and not dynamic. I'm guessing this has something to do with it?

Jeff, why does my sheet # & sta value not rotate? They both stay at 0.
