Rafah strike 'could reduce international confidence in Israel's actions' | Israel-Hamas war

An Israeli airstrike in western Rafah has reportedly killed at least 45 people and injured dozens more - the Israeli military says its aircraft struck a "Hamas compound".

Military analyst Sean Bell says under the Geneva Convention both sides have a "legal responsibility to protect all the civilian population, even if those civilians are operating close to a legitimate military target".

When our rivals do it, it's a crime. When our allies do it, 'it's complicated'.

Just hearing how they disregard human lives by using different terminologies is a clear sign of barbarism and intentional support for massacre. The language would have been hard if it were the other way round.

At this point we are just showing the rest of the world how hypocritical we are. Why are we destroying any reputation we have left on the world stage for Israel?

Another "mistake"? How many "mistakes" are we up to now? By the way what is the latest on all the other "investigations"?

Israeli president said in the beginning that there's no uninvolved civilians in Gaza
Israel finance minister said that returning the hostages is not a priority
Israeli prime minister said in 2019 that funding hamas is his strategy

It was never about the hostages nor about dismantling hamas it's just meaningless revenge and a land grab

War Crime is the word Shaun Bell and Sky were looking for. Weird how they can call it out with Russsia and not with Israel😬

I am not the brightest person in the world but how can Israel totally destroy hamas and get the hostages back?? Won't hamas just kill the hostages as Israel closes in on them? Why would hamas give back the hostages if Israel is intent on wiping them out? Can someone please explain.

IDF stands for Israel Defense Forces, their job is to defend Israel, not Palestinians. If IDF has to stop firing everytime there are civilians, which by the way already being told to leave the area but they chose to stay or maybe forced to stay by Hamas, then might as well disband IDF, because Hamas will always use their civilians as shields. If their own government want them dead, then it's none of Israel's business. Palestinians are the responsibilities of Palestinian government, not Israel.

This is tragic. I wish Hamas hadn't gone into Israel and murdered civilians, kidnapped civilians, and that they didn't hide amongst their own civilians. It's killing Palestinian civilians.

They were told to move to random crowded places while being wounded and in some cases disfigured, disabled from prior bombardment so they can't even move easily and even if they moved many times idf strikes the same places they claimed to be safe .
