NASA Astronaut Don Pettit Training Resource Reel

NASA astronaut Don Pettit launches to the International Space Station this September aboard the Roscosmos Soyuz MS-26 spacecraft. After his arrival to the space station, he’ll become a flight engineer of the Expedition 71/72 crew. Pettit trained for his mission alongside his two crewmates, Alexey Ovchinin and Ivan Vagner of Roscosmos. This will be his fourth trip to space. He previously served on Expedition 6 in 2003, STS-126 in 2008, and Expedition 30/31 in 2012. During his stay on the space station, Pettit will conduct scientific experiments and technology demonstrations, and maintain the space station.
