Why Minecraft Xbox One Edition Is Still Great

The Xbox One version of Minecraft was an excellent evolution of the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft, it was a version that did not need to reinvent the wheel because the 360 already was steering the ship right on. I owe a lot of my identity here on YouTube and the Internet as a whole to the Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions of Minecraft so I decided to jump back on to see does my childhood still hold up.

I grew up with the Minecraft Xbox one edition and play on the oldest version of it, I can’t believe that it’s turning a decade old this year

Your able to make custom flat worlds in this version. I’ve made flat red desert survival worlds before and it’s a cool survival challenge.

What you do is select create new world and go into more options, then select bonus chest and super-flat world and make world size and biome size large.
Now that you’ve done that select ‘customise super-flat’

Now you should see the options at the top reading Layers, Biomes, and Properties. For the layers part, what I usually do is 3x red sand, and between 65x and 70x stone blocks.

For the biomes part select Mesa.

For the properties turn on caves, ravines, abandoned mine-shafts, and strongholds, make the spacing for the strong holds around half way, and set the count at 3. Turn on dungeons, decorations (important), and lakes. You can also turn on biome specific structures if you want wells to spawn too, also villagers don’t spawn in this biome.

This is a cool survival challenge to do and I recommend it.

This is my version, i joined minecraft for the first time in 2017. This is what brought me to java and the minecraft community in general. I had a world called creeper city and everything was so nice. However im 13 now and its not the same. This video made me look back at my worlds. last week i found my old xbox 360 my dad bought me in 2009, it still has the first version of mc on it and i tried it out
It's A Whole Different Game when it comes to difficulty, getting to see the old world i had gave me memories i haven't thought about in years
It's the same world which i got my first ever diamond and i have it in some chest in a hole in the ground xd
The game's changed so much we don't even know how old it is, yet it's always been there waiting for the next journey <3

I recently re-downloaded Minecraft Xbox One Edition from a disc (i do infact still have an Xbox One). The music was great, very nostalgic at times, Minecraft was great back then, but now its just Minecrap, not worth playing, its just 1 - 4hours for new minecraft, for skilled playing in Xbox One Edition, could be a day, maybe 2. Its good that I've got the disc version so as long as Microtransa- Microsoft keeps releasing consoles with disc drives, it lives on forever.
