Starting college is a major life change, and Mama Laeno’s words, "things would never be the same, " really hit home for me because she’s absolutely right. Every first-year student faces the challenges of adapting to a new life and the uncertainty of what the future holds. From personal experience, I can confidently say that the transition from high school to college was anything but easy. My emotions were all over the place, and I constantly felt like I couldn’t catch a break. I put immense pressure on myself to perfect everything about this new life in just a few months, but I soon realized that’s not how it works. I learned that I needed to take things at my own pace. Yes, life has changed forever, but that doesn’t mean I had to change myself overnight to fit into this new world. I needed to take it one day at a time and trust that everything would eventually fall into place.

University life is an entirely new journey filled with fresh adventures, experiences, and challenges. To all the new freshmen, I can say, from the perspective of a second-year student, that everything will be okay. I won’t sugarcoat it—things won’t always be easy. But I can promise you that it does get easier with time as you adjust to your new reality. My hope for you is that you embrace and enjoy this new journey, one that has been a long-held dream for many of you. Good luck, and I wish you all the best in the semester ahead!

I remember before I moved to the city to pursue college, my mom cried and hugged me saying that it was for my own good and my future, I’m also a freshman in college and I’m so far away from home. This Nicole’s vlog hit me so hard sending hugs to us freshmen!! 🩷

Something I have learned from college move in is that you should keep all your clotheon your hangers and put then in a trash bag with their hangers and loop the handles of the bag on the hook. It really helps with moving a larger quantity in a quicker amount of time.

I honestly can’t believe I was able to graduate and go to college around the same time as Nicole. It’s truly amazing that I have been watching her videos since middle school and now following her journey through college. Good luck Nicole and I hope to see more of your college adventures! ❤

hey nicole! I finally got accepted to my dream uni today while I already fully believed I had been rejected and am now so excited!! I’m not moving away this year so I luckily don’t have to deal with that stress yet. Wanted to say though, I wish you and all other freshman good luck this year, we got this guys!!!💕💕📦
