The Propex Heater worked really well for us in the single digits while camping in Colorado. Glad we brought up the paper clip tool. Recommend watching the “Propex Digistat Procedure” videos. Rhythm is key in the video: “Press, hold, release. And press, hold, release.”

Are you sure one has to turn the gas counterclockwise to open it?

Why do you mount the thermostat so close to the heat vent? It seems like the thermostat will register increased temperature very quickly next to the heat vent and shut off before the wider area of the camper heats up. Why not move the thermostat farther away?
