When a band gets started with naivety and enthusiasm it comes quite easy to follow their career and to afford a longer time for assessing their style and for assuming what their style is meant to convey! Truthfully the Wombats are one of those band you can get easily used to; they're cool, they stave off any sort of mainstream or worthless influence and in the meantime they give vent to craziest happiness you might expect! You can figure out that a slight sadness or nostalgia is held in some tracks, the blurry vibes from This Modern Glitch depict the role of this band in a sad context, maybe steered by Matt's troubles and related to his dissatisfaction where noticeable! However their method of blending rock with electronic music, going across indie and pop approaches, coherently suits my need of being charmed and reasonably touched! This band leaves a trace on the inner of your soul and there's no way to remove that, fortunately.
