KidZania is a socially significant project operating on the principle of gamed-based education. Each park of KidZania is a miniature city for children aged 5 to 14, where they try out different jobs themselves, acquire practical skills and knowledge of the world around them.
The KidZania project was created by the Mexican entrepreneur Xavier López Ancona. The first city appeared in Mexico in 1999. Today KidZania is the most rapidly developing gamed-based education brand in the world, bringing together 24 parks in 19 countries: United Kingdom, Mexico, Japan, Indonesia, Portugal, the UAE, South Korea, Malaysia, Chile, Thailand, Kuwait, India, Egypt, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Philippines, Singapore, Russia.
It has its own hospitals, schools, airports, TV channels, beauty parlors, restaurants, stores, different transport vehicles and much more. Its partners are the largest companies and global brands – all occupations in the miniature city are connected with them. Each KidZania city is adapted to the peculiarities of local culture and traditions.
In Russia, the KidZania project is developed under a franchise scheme by Innova, which specializes in the creation and development of entertaining Internet projects.
