Lets Build Twitter From the Ground Up: Episode 164 || Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL and React

Building large scale application is more difficult than many people understand or expect. Join me in this long running series where I set out to duplicate one of the most popular social media platforms ever creating using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, PostgreSQL data, React JS web application framework and more.

In this episode we continue working on the users profile popup component by adding the logic to actually display who we follow in common with the user that posted the post. We created new functions to fetch a users followers and following lists to reuse across the code, and setup a function to map this information for our popup component. Finally we set up a new component to display the first three profile pictures of the users that both you and the post user follow.
