Where has South Africa “abused” the rules? World rugby are constantly changing the rules, and yet they are the same for everyone, and South Africa keep adapting to them. Hats off to them and their management, not only was Erasmus a fantastic player, he is a master tactician who can expose any weakness in an opponent and will find a way to beat the opponent. Another big asset is their fans, who although are extremely tribal regarding the teams they support and those players, when a player pulls on a Springbok jersey they are Springboks, and it is irrelevant who they play for domestically. Love them or hate them, they deserve respect!

Everyone harps on about the France QF game, but holy shit was that Ireland game a belter! I rate that was the Boks best game of the tournament. Both sides super physical, running at each other, trying to adjust tactics. If that game had been a knockout game it would have been hyped up like crazy. Great game to watch.
