Super glad I got this song. I am 55. I last heard it in Zim of the 80s when I was a kid. I had no idea what lyrics where saying, "Murders will go for solid nobody hurts...", went my misheard lyrics. Today I re-constructed the first lines to better sense, checked on YouTube, and hey-presto! Whoa.

This one time me and my boys were lost for a few days in the forest. We were laying model train tracks for our friends, and our car rolled into the river, so we were lost. We barely survived those couple days on a diet of licorice, Shreddies, and salamanders.

One night we heard the sound of this song blasting through speakers nearby. We followed the sound, only to find our friends camping and playing this song from their old 1975 Chrysler New Yorker. They had come to search for and rescue us!!

Fun, Innocent, Great Sound, and a healthy "Blow it off" attitude, (go get a soda), when things get a little hectic. Simple song lyric wise, but Fun, Innocent, and Great Sound. Great sound to crank up in your car on the highway. I remember it well.

Great song to play on the 8-track of the 75 New Yorker while I’m out in the bush near the American border laying model train tracks. Song is great to head bop to while I rock a piss on a tree out there!

Wow I've never understood half the lyrics before. What an eye/ear opener.

When times are super stressful, this song keeps me grounded. We're all just a bunch of idiots, take shit too seriously sometimes. Life only goes on so long, might as well say fuck it and change the mood, change the situation and live.

My Uncle and I were talking about this song at work a few weeks ago. We jump in the van and Boom it’s the fist song on the radio right at the beginning of the song. I’m at work the other day and it comes on the radio and BOOM my uncle texts just as it starts lol

I remember Mothers Against Drunk Driving put this song in the commercials.
