It was a genius episode, switching between peaceful timeline with Goku, Vegta and god of destruction eating ramen and the post-apocalyptic timeline with Trunks and Mai surviving with cat food. It was a very good transition and idea.

Man, Black Goku look bad-ass as hell. As Badass as Super Boo when he was at Dende Palace killing all humans.

I think Mai is more likely to be alive. She's in the intro sequence along with the present timeline versions. Also it would be sorta weird to bring future Mai in to dbs for a single episode and only for her to die.

The episode gives us a lot of questions and answers of future trunks problems in the first episode of the new saga. And it was pretty awesome. We already got 2 deaths which the 2nd one make me cry a little (but most people may thought it was funny cause of the angle she died), the ominous black G fighting trunks and the risk of survival they have in this dead future. The only thing I could theorized is probably going to be the cell saga plot with gods in it. Pretty cliche obviously in my opinion.
