Syrtos, also known as Chaniotis, is a celebrated dance of Crete with a 2/4 rhythm. While it’s not as fast-paced as Pentozalis or Maleviziotis, it demands just as much precision and artistry.

✨ Fun Fact: The style of Syrtos varies across Crete! In the west, it’s performed with more vigor, whereas in the east, it has a lyrical flow. Its roots are believed to trace back to the Chania region, giving it the name "Chaniotis."
