Condoleezza Rice on #MeToo: Let's not turn women into snowflakes

Former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said that while she believes the #MeToo movement is "a good thing," people need "to be a little bit careful" about how they respond to it.

She's smart. Mentioning how the "metoo" movement is making men second guess whether they even want to risk having a woman around them in work or in their social life is a real issue, and it's driving a further divide between the sexes.

The big issue is that 99% of men and women can get along just fine and know if they are being a jerk or not. But when 1% deal with microaggressions and find harm in "unwanted language", it does put a chill in place because everyone knows they'll run into that person sometime and they won't want to lose their job or have the Scarlett Letter social media badge blast them forever. Just the appearance or accusation is often enough to ruin a life.
