In answer to your sat nav question, yes, it does warn of traffic problems and updates the maps accordingly

Don't waste your money leasing, buy it. Basically £290 per month for 4 years? £14k and then you have nothing. If it starts at £22k and Toyota offer a 10 year warranty, well leasing makes no sense. Oh and that lease deal is only 5k mileage, buy it and do up to 100k and still have your warranty!

And is that the smallest rear indicator since the Austin and Hillman _"trafficators"_ of the mid 1900's had that arm that popped out on the "B" pillar to let other drivers know your intentions?

One of the reasons for your noise complaint is the rubbish noisy eco tyres. Swap these and problem solved. I am on my third Yaris and getting 80mpg plus and great to drive ❤

I bought my fiance in Spain a 2024 premiere edition. Being from Canada and tall, most vehicles in Canada are SUVS and there aren't many cars left. In Europe because of the small parking spots and tight spaces cars are still popular. She is small and this was the vehicle she wanted. Although not inexpensive, i am impressed with the quality and engineering of it.

I have the previous gen and I love it. Grocery hopper however? Not quite. It HATES infrequent short trips, the 12V battery is a huge weakness. Has this been solved in this gen?

One possibility is because the car remote key(Key Fob) was not more than 3m (10feet) away from the car. When the key is within 3m, the power system in the car is activated(wake up) and consumes the 12V battery.
When you get home, keep your keys at least 3m (10 feet) away from your car or store your keys in a Faraday box.
