The teacher is good, maybe teaches faster than usual, which is good for many reasons.
My suggestion to the teacher: you should start slow and get faster with every next question.

Rationalize both the terms
then (a+b) ^2 in numerator and a^2-b^2 in denominator
Then, 2sinAcosA will be canceled and [sin2A+cos^A = 1] in both terms

Final Answer
