Femtosecond Laser Assisted Cataract Surgery

Conventional cataract surgery involves performing all steps manually. Laser assisted cataract surgery still involves most of the steps being performed manually, but some of the initial steps are done with a laser. While the long-term outcomes are not significantly different between manual and laser, the laser does allow us to perform some astigmatism correction that is not otherwise possible.
