12.27.24:  i'd arrived on the tail-end of THE LOFT, GALLERY, READE STREET, but landed at the Buttermilk Bottom, after that it was non-stop . . . The Paradise Garage, Better Days, CRISCO, Silver Shadows, Disco, Bronevilla, Starlight, Boys Town, Roseland, Starship, Ice Palace, Melons, Bentleys, Justin's, Bonds, Levitcus, Paramount, Panorama, Latin Quaters, Red Parrot, the Anvil, MARS, AREA, The Tunnel, Limelight, the World, the . . . even Studio 54 (but only when Grace Jones' or some other grand recording artist's was performing). There were a few others that I can't recall at the moment.

There were a few after-after-after spots like the TOWNHOUSE IN HARLEM, and JAY'S in CHELSEA's Meat Market area . . .

And on long weekends, Murphy's & Zanzibar in New Jersey . . .

Or, the Hippopotamuses in Baltimore . . .

Or, the Clubhouse in Washington, DC . . .

Loretta's & the Marique(?), Traxx's in ATL . . .

Catch One, or Circus in Los Angeles . . .

Heaven in London . . .

Then, the Frigid in Brixton, UK . . .

All of this was between '76 to at least the closing of the Garage in '87 . . .

Such fond memories . . .

Later:

Areoport in Izmir, Turkey;

Delta Elite, Traxx, Bachelor's Mill (DC);

Silver Shadow, Ice Palace (NYC & Fire Island), the Warehouse (Bronx), Octagon, 667, Lenox Lounge (Tuesday nights), Esquelta(?), Berlin's, the SHELTER, BODY & SOUL . . .

Afterward things changed . . . the music (more HIP HOP/RAP), crowd (folks started just hanging around DJ booths with MOBILES & taking photos), and DJ'ing (not more taking dancers on a journey, or telling a story through the music), private SEX parties, Club weren't staying open to 6, 7, 9 AM . . .

2010 to NOW . . . I have no idea what the club scenes are like, now . . .
