As someone who lives in Fall River, I can tell you, the scariest part of this area isn't the hauntings and cryptids, it's the people.

New England has this kind of ancient, time locked vibe to it. Speaking as someone who grew up in Rhode Island

Just a friendly heads up. If you’re going to Massachusetts, please be aware that it is illegal to enter a cemetery between sunset and sunrise. The citizens take this law seriously and will call the police who will arrest you for trespassing. There are two reasons for this; 1: many of the oldest headstones have sunk into the ground and are easy to trip over in the dark.any of the state set close to each other so the likelihood of injuries is high. I lived in Salem which is right across the harbor from Marblehead, for 22 years. We had many of the foot stones stolen by tourists who took them believing that they were the headstones of witch children. I couldn’t even make this crap up. So, to spare you from unintentionally ruining your trip I am letting you know. 😊

I live in MA and the history around every corner, combined with vast untouched nature preserves, are 2 of the reasons I love it so much. Great video!

Danvers State Hospital was sketchy. I had my camera slapped out of my hand, while I lifting it up to take a picture. I stayed out of the buildings after that.

I was born and raised in Fall River Massachusetts and Iove my city. I hate how much the city has changed. I did move to Swansea Massachusetts for 7 years but Fall River is home and I moved back.Unfortunately crime and drugs have hit many cities but you still got great people living there in endless history.

For anyone in Rhode Island I go hiking alot in frenchtown trails in east greenwich and its absolutely beautiful but its so haunted it creeps me out more than freetown in fall river which is also pretty creepy. I found the woods in New England tend to be wicked haunted. Im from Bristol RI and King Phillips war took place in some woods by mount hope farm, those woods are haunted as well.

The Village Inn in Dracut. Had friends who worked there who talked about things being moved, groups of people talking, lights being turned back on, chairs being pulled back.
The Holiday Inn Tewksbury. One room they won't book unless they have too. Have personally seen multiple people run out of the room saying they saw a man. Or a man pulled their leg, or covers, or held them down. Also employees have seen people walking through glass and then nothing. Also function rooms sounding full but are empty and you smell cigarettes and chairs are moved. People also hear someone running but no one's there.
Bertuccis in North Andover. The sound of big groups at night but no one there. Foot steps in the basement but no one's there.

My grandmother used to say be afraid of the living, not the dead. It would be her 106th birthday today. If she was still alive.

I have lived in different parts of Mass My whole life. From Marshfield and several towns nearby to Cape Cod to out in Western Mass. My first house was haunted, the stuff that happened affects me still today, as in I can sense ghosts. Not kidding it’s just like a premonition of something is here. I remember helping someone move and right when I walked in the door it hit me. I asked right in the middle of her sentence of what was being moved, if the house was haunted and she laughed and said yes and told me of numerous encounters. When I lived in Whitman I was jamming with a kid in his basement and when we finished. We were outside and I realized I left my zippo in the house running back in to grab it I instantly got that feeling. When I got outside I asked if his house was haunted and of course he started describing events that happened. I’m no psychic. But I am extremely sensitive. And I’m sure I will get flack for this but I’m an empath. Being sensitive is depending how you look at it a curse and a blessing. Remember you choose your feelings. But picking up on entities, I don’t know why I know I just do. It’s that feeling you get when you’re not alone. An internal communication, that isn’t usually malevolent but certainly clues you in that you’re not alone. Going back to when I lived in my first house, some interesting things. Everyone that moved into that house including those after us moved out divorced, we were sick a lot in the house, my sister and I. And there was an underground river that flooded the basement up to the bottom steps. The road was stagecoach drive. But I can’t remember the number, but if I saw the house I would know it. I saw stuff I heard banging in the attic, my cats would go nuts. And the scariest two things. 1 I had 4 teeth pulled and had laughing gas, which back then was used for a type of sedation. Now when I got home I went right to bed. It was daytime when I got home. I woke up can’t remember the time but it was pitch black in my room. Feeling under the pillow, I realized the tooth fairy had made a visit and there was one of those things that you spin and it sparks, there is a little lever on the bottom and the faster you push it the more it sparks. Out of the corner of my eye I saw what I can only describe as a person in a black light. I did not have one in my room. They were reaching over the bed kneeling toward me. It scared the shit out of me and I will never forget it. 2 there was a noise that came from behind the woodstove. That my mother describes today as someone crying with a hand over their mouth. And when it happened I would jump in her bed totally petrified. And I remember her saying it’s just a noise. But imagine being a kid and there is no explanation for that noise. I can remember it happening one time and it got LOUD. Really loud, the memories are really fuzzy. But I can’t remember what happened after. I can say that I didn’t hallucinate that thing in my room. As it was much much later on I woke up. That night and that the noise I believe stopped after time. But the unease in the house didn’t. This would have been 84 maybe 85. Ghost hunters weren’t around yet. Those 2 accounts I will never forget. I had strange dreams as well. Important mention. I did find an ouija board in the house. And being a kid, not knowing anything about it or even how to use it. Something intrigued me about it. I just remember it was there. But I had no idea what it was for either as it was with all the other board games.

Creepiest feeling I ever had was visiting a friend at the old Tewksbury hospital in the basement there’s a tunnel in the basement and I wouldn’t set foot in the place again
