Buy super cool watch now and recharge it everyday for 2 years or until it craps out or buy a normal watch at less than half the base model's price and change the battery after 3-7 years and still have it working...?

kind of gimmicky in my opinion. i think most watch enthusiast will want to wear a traditional  watch or a nice Rolex. but hey you never know
