This was fun but it didn't feel very well research. You said you were shopping for stuff from the year you were born, but then were recalling clothes you remember from that time. It's pretty easy to find catalogues or celebrity pics from a specific year to really nail down what was actually in fashion.

Why is everyone talking about how Kristina looks "so much older?" I mean granted, I was surprised when she said 19, but it's nothing to harp on. I'm about to turn 21 and I still get people who think I'm like 17 about to graduate high school or something, which can be a little annoying. I can only imagine how this girl could possibly feel seeing everyone saying "omg I was born in 1992 and look younger than her!" Gimme a break. Everyone looks and ages differently. She'll likely catch up to her looks. When I was a high school freshman nearly everyone thought I was a senior or in college.
