After an eventful first day, US President Donald Trump and US First Lady Melania Trump were accorded a ceremonial reception by President Ram Nath Kovind at the Rashtrapati Bhawan. Following this, the Trumps went to Raj Ghat to pay their respects to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. President Trump and PM Modi later met at Hyderabad House for a round of restricted dialogue as well as delegation-level talks. Following this, both the heads of states issued a joint press statement. Trump said ties between his country and India have never been as good as they are now. He expressed hope that India and the US could reach a trade deal "that will be of great importance to both countries", and announced agreements for India to purchase more than $3 billion in advanced US military equipment, including Apache and MH60 Romeo choppers. The visiting dignitary also said efforts have been made to revitalise the QUAD initiative. He also spoke of expanding cooperation on counter-terrorism, cyber security and maritime security to ensure a free and open Indo-Pacific. On this edition of The Big Picture we will analyse Day 2 of President Trump’s visit to India

If US really want to confront China's rising power. It should make India its largest trading partner and shift major import from China to Indian Markets, as well as manufacturing companies. India is at almost 10th place presently in bilateral trading with USA.

I am not sure what we are giving back to USA? All the deals discussed were being purchased from USA. How this will balance the deficit?

We have done good in defense deal with USA in last few years but one thing that we should also take credit in negotiating trade deal with other countries especially USA.I mean whether it is WTO or other international platform, we put our concerns well & agree or negotiate better as compare to what we were doing a few years back

The Upanishads are considered sacred scriptures by the Hindus.

The following verses from the Upanishads refer to the Concept of God:

"Ekam evadvitiyam"
"He is One only without a second."
[Chandogya Upanishad 6:2:1]1

"Na casya kascij janita na cadhipah."
"Of Him there are neither parents nor lord."
[Svetasvatara Upanishad 6:9]2

"Na tasya pratima asti"
"There is no likeness of Him."
[Svetasvatara Upanishad 4:19]3

The following verses from the Upanishad allude to the inability of man to imagine God in a particular form:

"Na samdrse tisthati rupam asya, na caksusa pasyati kas canainam."

"His form is not to be seen; no one sees Him with the eye."
[Svetasvatara Upanishad 4:20]4
