I sometimes watch Footage of European countries (Russia, Germany, US etc) prior to the First World War, and it always makes me feel, because it makes you realize something so beautiful was lost, a world lost to the winds of sorrow and time. And as I'm watching, it makes me sad and angry, to see how something so beautiful and great was thrown away with that terrible war.

I think it was wrong of the allies in 1947 to (officially) dissolve East Prussia claiming that the Prussians were a militaristic force in Germany, when in fact Prussia was nothing more than a state in Germany from 1918 - 1945. That was just an excuse for the Soviet’s to annex the region
