I have to admit, I am puertorican and was rooting for Canelo. I expected nothing from Edgar Berlanga based on recent fights. I thought he was going to get knocked out or was going to run all night long. The fact is that he stood up to the challenge and wet toe to toe with a legend! He showed courage and determination. I can tell he took this fight seriously and went into the ring well prepared and with the plan to win! Not like Charlo and many others! Edgar, tonight you earned the respect of many boxing fans around the world and gained an elite boxing experience! I hope this sticks with you for the future and brings to you the confidence that you can beat the elite boxers in your division. CANELO showed tonight that he still has it. Legendary fighter and a humble man.
