Magistus seems like one of those decks where the parts of it work well in anything but itself, the deck can hardly be run alone but pairing it with other things makes those deck a hell of a lot stronger.

The mere inclusion of Artemis and Rilliona in Shaddoll is incredibly consistent from my testing.

Honestly I was very interested in Magistus because of the lore but when I tried them out they weren't doing much as a deck even with running as am engine, but this was before knowing Zoroa existed. The best thing for me is that it's a great engine for Charmer as Zoroa is a level 4 spellcaster with 1500 Def so it gives that extra consistency for the Possessed spell/trap cards. I really do hope to see more Magistus supports and more Charmer supports just to see what I could do with each deck separately as a pure build but still willing to use them both together.

They are good in shaddoll went from 2-6 to 3-5 but all the match's I lost where really close.

The best variant of Magistus by far (them being the center piece of it) is Dogmatika Magistus, by themselves they don't have enough moves to bypass handtraps, and so dogmatika at least makes them have a Plan B, also Magician's soul is really great too, can send the equips but also Trismagistus for a quick pot of greed

I still believe Endymion should've been the tuner and have something to do with spell counters. At least it could be teched in to the actual Endymion archetype
