Through our lives, we go through ups and downs, we have good days and bad days. We've got dreams that we never achieved, hopes we've never fulfilled. But that doesn't necessarily mean we've failed. Nevertheless, be certain that life has chosen the best for you, maybe it's not what you've planned or dreamt of, but it's were you succeed. However, that does not mean that one shouldn't persue one's own dream, but it means to go through all the available doors, because maybe one of them will be the door to success. To that end, "if you had never try, you'd never know"

I so wish to have understood your discussion, but didn't have English subtitles. Your accent is beyond me and I'm so sorry. I am typically good at accents. If I could read a written transcript, I would be immensely grateful for the opportunity to understand your perspective as a Californian. Our exposure to foreign language is embarrassing.
