Better Help is "Not What You Think"

I understand you need sponsors etc. But please attempt to avoid better help. It has been exposed for shady practices and not being trustworthy. Nearly scam levels.

Sponsors are really important for the channel to keep producing content but mental health is important and better help is really not a good service

Stop taking betterHelp sponsorships

Get a better sponsor, for your own sake.

I had heard that on submarines, unexpected ice cream with meals was bad news because someone had died while underwater and they had to clear space in the freezers for their body.

The food looks pretty impressive for $24.7 for 3 meals, definitely cheaper and better than McDonald’s.

Please do research into sponsors before accepting them.

I worked on a fishing trawler in the Bering sea in the 80s and yes, the food was exceptional. Work hard, eat like a king. It's a seafaring tradition.

I enjoy this channel, but if they keep accepting sponsorship from betterhelp then I’ll be unsubbing.

In the military (ANY military), there are 3 people who you should never piss off, and none of them are officers:

1- The unit clerk (you don't know what they'll put in your record),

2- Anyone working in the motorpool (modern brake systems are SO sensitive), &

3- The unit cook (you don't know what they'll put in your food [laxatives being the LEAST of your worries]).

I think guys forget that the Navy was literally delivering ice cream to troops on the ground and abroad. We had ships specifically designed for ice cream’s logistical needs😂

i was the EM1 in charge of maintenance and emergency repair for all the galley equipment. "hey, that burnt crispy goodies over there, could you toss that in with my Roast Beast and gravy?" i treated them well and was well fed, so were all my crew. "Hey! loved the roast turkey!"--"It was roast port, assmunch!" "i don't care, can i get seconds?" everybody likes a compliment. the morning they catapulted me off the flight deck on the USS JFK the galley captain personally made me a 3 ft x 3 ft loaded omelet, and had his whole crew photo'ed with me on the aft mess deck. that was nearly 40 years ago, during desert shield/storm, and it was a great memory. the best friend you can have is a cook. he knows where all the knives are too.

I don't care what mess hall I sidestep through. *I smile and thank every single person who puts a scoop my way!* And twice for the mess daddy watching everyone at the end of the line!

Deployed Navy units get additional money from advocacy groups that can be used to fund special meals (lobster and such)
