You need to do this again with your most expensive monitors running at the same time to see how close they are to each other. Good stuff.

Cool idea, but that club data is wildly inaccurate. Neat toy though. Good lucking using it outside when its 120 degrees in the summer. Might be as accurate as FullSwing last night though on TGL.

What happens mid summer when it is 90 plus out?

Doesn’t offer very much for face contact. They have launch monitors that are around $250 now

Does do it do swing speed only, e.g. no ball used?

The app is very cool but had no significant updates for a very long time. Maybe it’s time to invest on a full in-app simulation mode or going for something simpler like CTTH and putting practice with 3D graphics. Honestly I would pay 20$/month or more to have something with these features on my phone and probably wouldn’t need anything else as they use the collected data to improve the app readings. Golfboy team, hope you’re reading this ;)

I have not seen any apps for putting. I would be interested in that as it’s easy to do indoors and practice something that is least practiced by most golfers.
Maybe give that a go too as I would be very interested.

Does this app allow for use with a projector and impact screen so not as to have to rely on a tiny screen?

So, when you're playing sim golf, whenever you change clubs, from driver, mid-range shot and approach, you have to continuously keep adjusting the height of the tripod. Thats not an issue for a practice session but would get old quickly when playing 18 sim golf holes. Other than that, barring the limitations associated with not having any spin data, it would be good just to keep loose during winter.
But in my mind, bad practice leads to bad performance. This may not be an issue for a pro who knows his/her swing, but for an amateur, if you spend 5 winter months hitting slices, but you don't know it's happening because the monitor shows everything straight, no spin axis, that engrains a bad habit that is hard to break come spring.
This is a good tool for the kids to play.
