As a Mexican myself one of my uncles who used to live in a rural area in the deep forest of the state of Durango, I remember a story he told us: he got up early in the morning one day and found his chickens dead with the blood sucked out and the two little holes which he assumes was the chupacabra fangs, he’s a very respectful and serious old man, no jokes .
Also my brother who was living there at that time, told us another story and the way he gives us details I 100% believe he’s telling the truth: one night he observed a ufo 🛸 that was flying at a very low altitude, just above the trees and was completely silent, he was scared to death, he run and hid below a rock depression.
He gave us a visual description of the UFO: One big shiny round light surrounded by small round lights and a middle sized light in the back.. very strange events happen in that area.
Edit: another thing I forgot, when I was in middle school I used to go to that rancho on vacation, and my aunts that live there told us stories about cattle disappearing on other ranchos and people sighting a misterious flying object and they assume that object was responsible for the cattle disappearing.

I am from Northeast India and this incident happened to our village and many many neighboring village. The description of Chupacabra fits with our incident

yes because in 1995 they started finding goats and cattle with their blood drained all over south Texas. so it was first reported in the states in 1995 but it was already known through out Mexico and further on. i was in 6th grade. every couple of days they would find more cattle with its blood drained and fang marks.

They probably were dogs that were ill and suffering from uncontrollable hunger . But some that looks as if it has a body of a human and a head of a dog or an oversized lizard is just unbecoming.

the reason this cryptic got very popular in 1995 was because goats and other cattle were found dead with all the blood sucked out of them and fang marks. It was already well know in rural Mexico, but in 1995 it hit the Southern American States, e.g. Texas mainly.
