seriously though, is "I hope all your favorite bands stay together" the nicest thing you could say to someone or not?

The day before he died, this album came out. Dawes was my favourite band at the time.
But after losing one of my best friends. I didn't want to listen to this album until I was ready.
This song will forever be yours Duncan. I love you brother.

Such a sweet sentiment. Reminds me of an Irish Blessing.

Just went to a concert in which this band opened. It didn't take long for us, ( having not been familiar with them), to be thrilled that we found a new band that we very much like! Harmonies great, guitar solos great but wanted more, lyrics right up our alley, demeanor of the atmosphere was beautiful. Front man and singer, was so gracious and humble with the huge crowd. Connected with the audience beautifully. Most of all the band gave us a great night and we will be seeking them out to hear more.

How can people dislike the thoughtfulness and joy in this video? This made me cry. Wow!

Never listened to it with my old man, but he texted it to me quite often. Life without a chaperone is not what I ever wanted it to be. The Heavy Chevy will run forever in spirit. I see my Dad as no one ever saw him as he was to me...#1. STP broke up too often. I miss you and love you Dad. Thanks for giving me Dawes from FUV.

I am a songwriter for life. Its through me like a cities name in a stick of rock . I get so jaded listening to bad writing and then there is Dawes. One of the best bands out there . I keep returning to the power of their words first and then the music takes me. It is seldom in that order with music nowadays as the lyricist seems be down the food chain in bad collaborations. Dawes explore who we are beyond the lens of love or loss .There is so much more to be open to and opened by.

How many more times can I hear this and "A Little Bit of Everything" and NOT have it bring a tear to my eye? Songwriting dosen't get any better than that in my book!

Sitting in the dark, March 27 2021 and this is still my go to song that always brings a smile to my face. Congratulations on the new baby, Taylor and Mandy.

This song is one of my favorites you guys have ever written. This lifted me up, and reminded me what matters in these dark times. Thank you.

I heard this song for the 1st time today, on a local college station in St Louis Mo. as I'm loading up my trailer to go camping with my wife and kids...one of which is 19 and drives an elcamino. Life is good..

One of my good friends recently passed away. He was a musician out in Nashville, but before those days we played in a band together for many years in the Twin Cities. Before me moved out there we went to see Dawes in concert. I'd never seen them and only knew a handful of tunes, but I left a fan for sure. This song has been an incredible source of comfort right now and I don't know if the band will ever see this, but in case they do I want them to know how much this tune means to me and how much they're music meant to him. Also, they're officially never allowed to break up.

Taylor is one of the best songwriters out there, and I love how this song has become a singalong at the end of most of their concerts now. Gets to me every time.

A friend recommended Dawes to me; the first video I tried ( the official "When My Time Comes" ) just didn't do it for me. On the hottest night of a 2019 eastern Canadian summer, I couldn't sleep, so I checked out this video; I'm a fan for life.

Saw these guys live nearly a year ago, they were opening for some guy my girlfriend wanted to see in concert. I was absolutely blown away, a few of the songs they played actually made me tear up a bit. Great fucking band.
