July 16th. 2013 8:45am. It's day four of the XP1K film shoot.
RJ Anderson is about to attempt a 40 foot gap step down...

Despite landing to flat from over forty feet in the air... RJ is uninjured.
He returns one week later, to make a second attempt at the stunt...

RJ comes up short on his second attempt but is not seriously hurt.

He walks away clean...and vows to return a year later...

RJ Anderson has some unfinished business.

How did you have a XP1K in July of 2013?

The first ones i saw were in August of 2013 and i thought these were test models only.

This guy has a destiny. You can play with fire only so long before you get burned. It's coming. I just hope he has enough common sense to stop before it happens. Once you start this madness each time you do something the next time you have to step it up a level. Till you reach a level where you make it or die. It's coming. This guy fits the criteria to a tee.

40’ drop ummm the ramp he landed on looked to be 25’ tall so I’m guessing it was only a 15’ drop. Maybe if he missed the entire landing or didn’t have a ramp it would be 40’

Why not just count the first attempt? It went over the landing who cares?

Thinkin' the "Heavily modified, Race prepped..." might wanna fire the mechanic/engineer. That thing's suspension just died on impact on the first jump...WTF.

Lol this is an average jump on any mx track. It's all machine...anyone could have done that.
