How to Connect to NTRIP:

In your drone's settings, activate RTK positioning and switch the RTK Service Type to 'Custom RTK Network'.

Then enter the NTRIP details: Configuration (for quick switching between Mount Points), NTRIP Address, port (usually 2101), your registered email and password, and the CASE SENSITIVE Mount Point name.

Save these settings, and within a few seconds, your drone will be connected, providing a more stable and accurate flight!

Nice video. You mentioned that the deployment location should be within ~15 km to a CORS base station. My understanding is NTRIP system uses a network approach to establish a VRS (virtual reference station) near the user through interpolation. This means as long as you have internet access and there are a few CORS stations around you, NTRIP should be able to calculate the correction message and send it to you by internet. Is my understanding correct? I am located in North Carolina, US.

Do you have to manually insert mountpoint? With GNSS receivers after you put in NTRIP ip and port you are able to download the MOUNTpoint table and select the one from the list. Thats not the case with DJ Pilot2 ?

yes you are right, it might be a cheaper option but where i am located we have only 1 CORS network for the coverage of the island. and the subscription fee is consequential. since we already have base stations and rovers (from FOIF) i wanted to know if it is possible to connect the RTK to a base station and how pls. thank you

In usa it looks like NAOO CORS is no longer available to general public. Only past data meaning flying the drone isn't accurate but need software to later input to correct which is sad😢

@1:44 While you are getting the general concept of RTK correct, you are not describing the controller interface correctly. The custom network RTK is the location of the base station from your NTRIP connection, not the corrected location of the drone.
