Good morning from Denmark 🇩🇰 I’m a novice in pressure canning, I’ve done some raw chicken and some minced beef cooked. You inspired me to try to empty my fridge and save some money on electricity. As I live on a small island, we sometimes during the winter get cut off from the main land and then food supplies get cut off. So a larder with food that I can heat up on my wood burning stove makes me feel safe

She (and Jim) are such vast universe's of information, insight, education from evr aspect we can imagine. Never boring & always sharing the love a mom, grandma or great aunt would have in loving to share with ya & it shows.. Thank you for having 2:40 us in your lives. I've never tried this soup & my son had begged me to make it & try it. Well, will he be surprised Monday when I buy the ingredients I'll need to make it! I can't wait! Thanks you for the recipe.

Until I began watching your videos a few months ago I was also afraid of pressure canning. When in high school I was canning with my mom and sister and the lid blew off the pressure canner, badly burning my mom. I have been terrified ever since. However, you gave me the courage to try again. I confess I bought an expensive canner you could screw the lid down tight for pressure canning, to relieve my fears, but I have been pressure canning so many of your recipes ever since! People LOVE my soups! I have also learned to dehydrate foods from your videos. Thank you so much for the fabulous teaching! You are a natural! I so appreciate knowoing the science behind the processes. 😊

Hi Pam, I just met you at the temple on Wednesday. Man, you are so inspiring! I've been watching some of your videos. I know what you do every day. You work hard in your kitchen helping women all around the world. Good for you. This recipe is amazing. Looks like it would win the neighborhood chili cook off.

Sigh. It's time for bed and I have a yearning for taco soup. I crush tortilla chips into mine when I'm ready to eat it. I also add chicken broth instead of water. As Pam demonstrates, there are a lot of possible variations, all producing a delicious soup.

Taco soup is one of our favorites, too! I always use what I have on hand, too, so it never turns out the same way twice. For the corn, I like to use the Mexican Corn recipe from Ball. Great idea to make it in the slow cooker!

In chilies, soups, stews,etc,l use tomato juice to thin down if too thick, adds awesome flavor.

You have inspired me to expand out of my usual fruits and veggies to canning beef stew and turkey soup. I learned to resist over filling the jars. 1 inch head space is a must. 1 1/4 even better. Thank you for all you do to share your wealth of knowledge and experience 😊😊😊

I really enjoy watching you cook. Take half out and put in fridge with your name on it and Doctor the other half up with more Taco seasoning, Salt, maybe Salsa or Tabasco and let simmer for a while then put in fridge for your better half. Have fun on the 2nd or 3rd day with your yummy Taco Soup!

I love crockpot cooking, so I hope you try more of these recipes. IMO, it’s kind of nice to make this for a delicious dinner, then freeze the rest in serving size containers for future. Thanks again! ❤️🌹👍🏻
