The G6 can park in really tight spots (tested), so tight that you can't get out. However, you can exit the car first and then let it park using the phone app. And when you want to get in, the app lets you pull the car forward so the doors have clearance to open. We played that yesterday in Zhuhai China. Lovely car, I'm getting one.

Finally an auto park worthy of its name 😍😍

Looks like autopark is quite good. And congrats Norway of hitting 94% electric cars registrations of total sold car types.

The pull-out stops when the car has cleared the cars next to it, when it is safe to turn the wheel fully either left or right depending on which way the driver needs to go. Perfect solution 😊

Perfect.

The people still doing jokes about Chinese but they are working hard

The pull-out function is in the app for sure.
For easier access to the car.
It's additional only, when you are in the car.

Every time you activate the auto park, someone in China parks it remotely for you.

OT but this is by far the best color for the G6, it looks great from the side especially.

Auto pullout is very useful, if the car on your left parks so bad that you can not get in/out of the car

In the UK, you do not indicate during reverse manoeuvres as the Reverse Light is the indication that you are performing a manoeuvre. I assume that this is the case in China too maybe? Is that not the case in Norway? Also, as someone else said, the Pull Out is just far enough that if there were cars next to you, you could turn fully, and not hit them no matter the direction you choose. Overall, very good Auto-parking, seems Xpeng have this almost perfect.

You Norwegians are spoiled by your big parking slots, and don't understand the pain of 2 big cars parking right beside you and not able to open your door.
Having the car "pull out" automatically is a godsend.

3:53 This short „pull out“ function would make sense, if it could be initiated via the Xpeng App - in case the driver door is blocked by a neighbor car.

Pretty impressive, but still room for improvement. It will be interesting to see there selfdriving when it comes, pretty sure they can make that to.

Chinese brands are moving faster than anyone else, and their prices? Unbelievably good! It's like watching Japanese brands in the '80s all over again.

Brilliant software, wow. I am looking forward to your range and 1.000 km challenge to see how strong the Xpeng is re the efficiency… a very interesting car in so far.

The pullout is for letting the wifey enter the sidedoor, normally no space to open doors when inside parking lot.

Hah hah!!! Very good Bjorn. Very well done review. I've pre-ordered the Australian version and I'm actually pretty excited about it. All the reviews I've watched have been very positive of the G6. I think the G6 shows just how far Chinese vehicles have come and how the future will be. I do like Tesla too but after owning a 2023 MY RWD, I disliked the comfort suspension. I'm also not keen on the Tesla idea of not having indicator stalks any longer, so waiting for the new Juniper version won't interest me. Anyway, keep up the great work mate.

Saw a couple cars on the road and what i didn't like is the tail-lights don't light up when braking. only the third brake light and the two at the bottom. not sure why they did it this way. the tail-lights are at the rear car drivers eye line and easier to see. I wonder if it can be fixed OTA or in the 2025 facelift. haven't seen any reviewers mention this too. what are your thoughts?
