I enjoy watching him play along with the orchestra!. He was one of the most underrated pianist of the 20th century. His mozart touch is impeccable. He was a wonderful musician...sadly missed

Gulda spielt perfekt ohne irgendwelche Eitelkeiten.

Absolutely love Mozart’s piano concertos 19, 21 and 23.
Friedrich Gulda was a gift from God, a sensational and generation talent!

The only pianist in history to jam along with the orchestra for the two minutes of instrumental music before the piano enters as written at 2.09

This uptaking from 1986 is so wonderful. Friedrich Gulda as some sort of a hippie plays the Adagio so well that I completely melt down, and a young Claudio Abbado is conducting this fine orchestra. Music history at its best on YouTube.

I can't help but cry whenever I listen to Gulda's Mozart Piano Concerto No. 21. Especially in the second movement. How can it be more beautiful in this world? It's indescribable. The word "beautiful" must exist to refer to the performance of this gulda.

My all time favorite pianist. He doesn't play music. He IS pure music.

Even if we accept all critics about his playing style, I think we all should admit that his piano touch in Mozart is the best! Not too heavy, not too light. His piano touch is Mozart itself.

There was never another Mozart before Mozart and there never will be a Mozart after Mozart.

I'm so happy to see his performance at an earlier period. What more can I say, possibly one of the most celebrated pianists in modern times.
