I'm 60yo, no debt no mortgage, still working, my term life insurance is going up what would be some good options going forward

Retired at 56 and living basically on cash savings until 59.5. Nibbling on IRA until I hit 62 and SS.
My problem with these software programs is my situation doesn't fit any of them. My spending varies yearly. I might take 8% one year from IRA and nothing for the next two years. We have a disabled adult son with us that provides additional SS and unexpected income from taking care of him in our home through Medicaid waiver.
I don't find them that useful since i find them too limiting. 56-59 were one situation. 60-62 different still, and after that radically different still.
They are fine for people who have an IRA and draw on it predictably.
I have paid off real estate and crypto stake rewards. I can live on 40k or 80k without any discomfort.
Flexibility. Overthinking and planning are great but if you're flexible and debt free, you're golden

Very cool! I’ve see Josh use this but I did not know it was free. Thanks for sharing!

The comparison you’re making is not apples to apples since you have different American Funds in your portfolio -presumably with different objectives each. How about creating another portfolio with index funds that mimic the ones in your American Funds portfolio (say, 35% S&P, 7% Midcap, some Small Cap, international and US bonds)?

Thinking is retiring in 20 years? Due to inflation, you may need upwards of $2.6 million to maintain your existing lifestyle, with the ongoing effects of high inflation. Lower forecasted stock market returns, and stagnant wages, achieving a secure early retirement could be more challenging than ever before.

I bought a managed Vanguard fund in 1995 and its out performed the S&P 500. Tough to want to sell a fund when its performed well. Maybe we were lucky or maybe we were blessed.

Great returns considering the expense ratio's go from just over, 5% to over 1%! The Vanguard funds used to give a bit less in expenses if you go for the Admiral Shares which most people do as the difference for minimum is $3, 000 for investor shares versus $10, 000 for Admiral shares (.03% or .04% er). If they still are charging a few basis points more for investor shares, that would put them closer in total returns to your portfolio. The S&P is considered to have so many large multi national's in it that it's considered to be part International by many. Great tool for checking your asset allocation and other things too! Still in Upstate NY.

Suggestion when using a cursor as a pointer in a video, make it much bigger and colored.
