Make a T shape when inserting. Then bend it to lock it.

This is actually a cool way to put on the cuff links, because I do not like the normal way when buttons are facing outside because the sleeve of the suit are often sliding back/up as a result which does not look good on photos then. Just saw it in a wedding again of my cousin.

What if the side with the buttons doesn’t have the hole for the cuff link? Can I button up the cuffs then jam the cuff link in the same slit?
