Darian DeVries is the new basketball coach at Indiana as Scott Dolson wasted no time in making the hire!

I do like the hire...Coach DeVries listening to past players who he coached, he is a workoholic and understands the 24/7 demands of being the Indiana Coach, understands NIL and is a winner and his game plan will be ignighted by watching videos to fully prepare and understand an opponent....being 49, IU might have the possibility of having a 20 year tenure and won't be looking for another coach in 3 or 4 years. Coaching West Virginia and getting left out of the NCAA tournament like Indiana, he should be coming to Bloomington with a chip on his shoulders with something to prove. I do like the Hope a new hire creates and this decIsIon has inspired my passion for IU college hoops again during what could have been a dismall month of March.

Nice hire. Brings his son and probably his top 25 recruiting class and has a lot of NIL to add players around that core. Think Indiana will get some nice names out of the portal I think this guy can recruit
