WOW...my first video checking out from hairguard but this is ridiculously good. I bet you this guy's more researched than 95% of the doc's prescribing this stuff...
Nicely done, amazing work!

The pharmaceutical companies make a lot less if they recommend a lower dose. Reminds me when living in Italy and took just one medicine for mild allergies. I then move to the US and they recommend 5 medications 🤦🏽‍♂️

if the .2mg and the 1 mg doses give similar results in terms of scalp and serum DHT reduction, why would the side effects be better with the lower dose ?

Seems like what matters in terms of sides is how much the serum DHT is lowered - and they both lower the serum levels a similar amount

in japan 0.2mg is supposed to be standard and at most 1.0mg

Finally a great video about this. 1.25mg/day gave me sexual side effects so I switched to 0.25mg/day and have no side effects. I did that exactly because of those studies that show 0.25 (or even lower) is also very effective (not as effective as 1, but still very effective)

Top video. Very interesting take on finasteride use. I’ve been uploading video reviews of my 1mg usage over the last few months, and I’m going to speak to a trichologist about lowering my dosage.

I started with 0.25mg daily and wanted to increase that gradually to 1mg after two months without side effects.
However, I got side effects after 3 weeks despite my low dose.
I found out that 0.25mg daily or 6x/wk is too much for me, but with 3-4x/week it is tolerable. Now looking into topical fin

I was on .25 a day for 10 years with minimal side effects. When I finally weened myself off, it wrecked my body. Had to have a catheter put in within a week because my prostate blew up. Don’t fool yourself into thinking a small dosage isn’t dangerous.

1mg 3x/week reduced my DHT by 70% but withbad sides ... I got sides even with 0.25 3x/week ! But now I am on 0.125mg 3x/week is my optimal dosage for the moment

How tricky these pharma market industries are. My mom was a nursing officer and she was able to figure this shady stuff cause of being medicine and compliance incharge but never spoke cause of fear of the pharma mafias. Whenever I used to have headaches she used to give me half a pain killer tablet rather than full one cause she was aware of the side effects of too much ibuprofen in it. This knowledge and practical case study research ability of hers helped me to figure out and challenge my own doctor who prescribed me 1 mg a day finasteride very merrily just so that he can get the result asap and use the study on me for his research paper. We should have the ability to research and question our surroundings. Keeping dosage to 1mg a week or 0.5 mg 2wice a week.

Brilliant. This is the second time I have heard this information. I have just started 1.25mg 3 x a week. The half life of finasteride is the key. As stated in your video, the amount of fin blocking the DHT is small in the follicle compared to the amount that ends up in the blood stream. I will be resting Finasteride from month 5 to 6 to allow the levels in the bloodstream to wash out. The reduction of fin in the hair follicle after 30 days, or half life is 50%. I may be wrong. Obviously, don't take my word as gospel and do do your own research from reputable studies and sources.

About 3weeks I started using topical Finasteride, 0.25 dosage in 1ML, no shading, no side effects 😇

microdosing is great another thing you can do is change the frequency of taking the drug so instead of daily take 4 times a week because finasteride has the diminishing returns one dose stays in your system for 14 days
